My Supervisor is a fake online security scanner tool that tries to fool the user into purchasing a full price license to remove malware threats that are not even there. My Supervisor starts with a pop up warning of harmful and maliscious’ software detected on your PC. My Supervisor warns of backdoor trojan infections and Virtumonde, all real trojans and nasty infections that would naturally be cause for concern. After infection this parasite uses a well known scheme to trick you into giving them money. Unfortunately it seems to work very well with credulous users. It is important to dispose of all annoying false information and persistent pop-ups that accompany this parasite. Not to be worried though as these infections are false positives designed to further the false effect. My Supervisor will offer a ‘fix now’ and ‘buy now’ option which lead to phony websites where the transaction is attempted to be closed with the user. My Supervisor is a relentless infection that will worsen in terms of your system symptoms over time.
