Like puresafetyhere, Pageforsafety(dot)com provides zero security and does nothing but hi-jack your homepage and offer bogus security warnings. Pageforsafety(dot)com is the latest homepage hi-jacker from the Zlob group. Pageforsafety(dot)com displays a bogus Trojan warning initially offering an anti-spyware product to remove the infection. Of course it is all a scam.
Not only does this infection change the homepage to Pageforsafety(dot)com but it also drops two desktop icons labeled ‘Online Security Guide’ and ‘Security Troubleshooting’. These links lead to more scare tactics to download rogue applications of course.
